Nick Saint Nyck 2017 Reference Sheet

While I’m in the habit of introducing new characters, I suppose I better unveil a little something else I’ve been working on lately: my much needed and updated reference sheet! With all the commissions I’ve wanted to join in on this has been a seriously overdue project I’m glad to finally bring to the table.
Most of the details are the same but there is a major change to the stripes and their colour, as you can see. With the possible exception of latex, I’m trying to move back to cel shading as much as I can, and I needed a pattern that worked in that format while still feeling, well, me. It borders a little on tiger stripes which, to be perfectly frank is a beast I don’t think I deserve the moniker of, but I still like it better then the alternatives I tried.:3
To anybody who is currently doing commissions with my character and has the old stripe pattern, please don’t feel a sudden need to change it, just keep using the old. It’s my own damn fault for not coming up with something better before now, sorry about that, and this will hopefully erase that problem in the future.
